Hailing originally from Peterborough Ont. Now lives in Vancouver BC... Lady Precise (A.K.A Kaytea Daignault) sang in nightclubs and underground raves starting at the age of 17 with DJs Marcus, Citrus and Easy Rush from the legendary Destiny Party's in Toronto. In '98 she began singing at the infamous club Celebrities every sat. It was there, where Lady Precise performing live house music, would meet and record with famed producer Eddie Amador of Deep Dish records for two tracks in 1999 released on house compilations.
Lady would go on to put out five house 12" records with producers Sean Dimitrie (Bloom Records), DJ Ali (Village) and Vernell de Long, Dickey Doo - his version being remixed by Smash Hunter. In '99 she met Vancouver's most famed DJ Vinyl Ritchie - recording three songs for his new project; "Lester" (Nettwerk Records) and then began to perform shows together opening for the likes of; Black Eyed Peas, Michael Franti (of Spearhead), Roy Ayers, Culture, Swollen Members, The Rascalz, Mix Master Mike and K-Os. Lady precise and Vinyl Richie with Mat the Alien have continued to play every sat night at the longest running club night in Vancouver "Big Sexy Funk" (8 years) - hosting the decks for the likes of Fort Knox, Team Canada, DJ Mel, Czech, U Turn, Scratch Bastard, Flosstradamous, Tommie Sunshine, DJ Nu Mark, Age & Science, DJ Smash, Smalltown DJs and Greyboy.
