Breaks Todd Zimmerman, aka DJ TODDSKI, started collecting vinyl and mixing in 2001. Soon after, he brought his blend of breaks, house and funk to local clubs, bars and parties in the Whistler area of beautiful British Columbia. Teaming up with local production company's J'n'B and Easygroove, Todd was able to play along side some of Whistler and Vancouver's best DJ's. Climbing the ranks of the local music scene he was exposed to more styles and forms of dance music which played a major role in the evolution of his own sound. After starting his own night (Beat Cave) with help of local musicians, Todd started rocking dance floors on a regular basis at all the major nightclubs in whistler: Tommy Africas, The Maxx Fish, The Savage Beagle, and the G.L.C. as well as outdoor parties, full moon parties and legendary Canada Day festivals. Working for Dirty Beats, Todd has had the pleasure and opportunity of playing beside some of his favorite DJ's and producers on the planet. He's started crowds moving to the likes of Freestylers, Lorin Bassnectar, Freq Nasty, Fort Knox Five, Matt The Alien and Czech to name a few. Now with a studio in Vancouver, he's teamed up with Kori K and is taking his sound and style to the next level.
